Five killed, 18 injured in bomb explosion

Biharsharif: At least five people died and 18 others were injured, four of them critically when an explosion took place inside an illegal firecracker factory in Khas Ganj locality under Sohsarai police station area in Nalanda district.

Nalanda police superintendent Sudhir Kumar Porika said the explosion took place in the illegal firecracker factory running in a house late last night. He said a person identified as Mohammed Sarfaraz was living in the house on rent.SP said that four people critically injured had been rushed to Patna Medical College and Hospital, 14 others were undergoing treatment at Biharsharif Sadar Hospital.(UNI)
