Former President Pranab Mukherjee to attend function of RSS

Nagpur: Former President Pranab Mukherjee is likely to attend concluding function of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) at its headquarters here on June 7, sources from RSS said on Monday.

According to sources, Mr Mukherjee was sent an invitation to attend the concluding function of Sangh Shiksha Varg (Trutiya Varsh) as the chief guest and the former president has accepted the same, the sources said.The sources further informed that the official announcement in this

regard, will be made soon.

It may be mentioned here that the 25-day-long 'Sangh Shiksha Varg-Trutiya Varsh' (third year) is presently underway at the Hedgewar Smriti Mandir premises in Reshimbagh area of city.

Around 708 swayamsevaks from across the country are participating in the training camp, sources added.(UNI)
