New Delhi:A freelance journalist has been arrested by the Delhi Police Special Cell allegedly found to be in possession of classified documents, the police said on Friday.
According to police, Rajeev Sharma , a resident of Pitampura, who is a freelance journalist , has been arrested in a case of Official Secrets Act, related to the possession of Defence related classified documents.
The probe in the matter is underway, the police added.He is presently under police custody.Reportedly, Sharma had earlier worked with several media outfits including news agency, newspapers and news portal.(UNI)
