New Delhi:Google LLC on Thursday took down digital payment application Paytm from its Play Store as it has 'violated' certain policies of the tech giant.
Till it is not restored, the app will not be available for download for Android platform users.
Taking to its twitter handle, Paytm said, "Dear Paytm'ers, Paytm Android app is temporarily unavailable on Google's Play Store for new downloads or updates.

It will be back very soon. All your money is completely safe, and you can continue to enjoy your Paytm app as normal (sic)."This is the first time that Paytm's main app has been removed from the Play Store, while other apps Paytm for Business, Paytm mall, Paytm Money, among others are still available for download.
