Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has launched its latest device, the HMD Touch 4G, in India on Tuesday (October 7, 2025). The Finnish brand describes it as a “hybrid phone” — blending the simplicity of a feature phone with key functionalities of a smartphone.
The company aims the device at students, youth, and blue-collar workers, offering modern connectivity at an affordable price.
The HMD Touch 4G features a 3.2-inch touch display, cloud-based applications, and a dedicated SOS ICE (In Case of Emergency) key for quick help during emergencies. It supports real-time chatting and video calling via the Express Chat app, available in 13 Indian languages and compatible with both Android and iOS devices. It also supports Wi-Fi, and Wi-Fi hotspot functionality for data sharing.
The phone sports a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front camera. It also offers Bluetooth, wireless and wired FM support, and an MP3 player.
The device holds a 2,000 mAh battery and includes a Type-C charger, auto call recording with folder management, and an intuitive touch-based user interface. The device comes with an in-box charger and a protective jelly cover.
Priced at Rs 3,999, the HMD Touch 4G will be available from October 9 across major retail stores, e-commerce platforms, and HMD’s official website. It comes in two color options — Cyan and Dark Blue.
