IB was pressurized to arrest ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan!

In a major coup of 90's ISRO espionage case, a sensational revelation has come to the fore. According to the former head of the SIT the then IB officials pressurised the probe team and senior officials to arrest Nambi Narayan as the matter had national security in its core. 
The former SIT head Mathews is the fourth accused in the case filed by the CBI for the wrongful custody and torture of former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayan. Besides Nambi Narayan too looks in no mood to spare the intelligence officers as he challenged the bail petition of officer PS Jayaprakash.
 
In his plea, the Narayan alleged that the petitioner has made false contention in the bail plea and requested a reply. He also pleads to impleads him in the bail application. 

It is to be noted that apex court ordered a CBI probe in for further action, the Justice DK Jain Committee report on the erring officials who implicated scientist Dr Nambi Narayanan in the 1994 ISRO Espionage case.The Court has directed the CBI to report to the Supreme Court the decision taken on the enquiry report within three months.

Last week  CBI team probing the conspiracy in the ISRO episonage case, has filed a FIR before the Chief Magistrate in Kerala High Court.The FIR named 18 people including former DGP Siby Mathews, former deputy director of IB, RB Sreekumar and SP KK Joshua, sources said 

The spy case erupted when Nambi Narayanan was arrested along with another senior official of ISRO, two Maldivian women, and a businessman in 1994, led to a political storm in Kerala. Former chief minister K Karunakaran was forced to quit the office in 1995 following reports that he was trying to protect those involved in the case.

This is also to be noted that Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his election campaign in Kerala on April 19, 2019, alleged that Congress never respected scientists, recalling the fate of scientist Nambi Narayanan who was dragged into the spy case by the Congress politicians.

Besides Narayan has also withdrawn the petition against the state after 1.3 crore was offered to him as compensation in lieu of the suffereing caused during the arrest and investigation.
