New Delhi: Barely few hours left for US President Donald Trump's maiden visit to India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said that the country looks forward to welcome POTUS.

Taking to twitter, Mr Modi wrote “India looks forward to welcoming @POTUS  @realDonaldTrump. It is an honour that he will be with us tomorrow, starting with the historic programme in Ahmedabad!”

Mr Trump, along with First Lady Melania Trump, will arrive for a two-day India visit tomorrow.

He will travel to Ahmedabad in PM Modi's home state Gujarat, New Delhi and Agra.

Mr Trump and the PM will attend a mega “Namaste, Trump” event at the newly-built Sardar Patel cricket stadium in Ahmedabad. (UNI)
