Hangal: The Muslim woman, who was assaulted in a hotel room in Karnataka's Hangal has divulged astounding details, alleging that she was gang rapped by the attackers.

Initially, the victim complained to the police that she was sexually assaulted, but during the court proceedings, she divulged about gang rape which forced the law agency to invoke sections 376(d) of the IPC, which pertains to gang rape.

The victim released a video Thursday narrating her ordeals including the accused gang raping her.

The victim was dragged out of the hotel room, after she and her Hindu male partner, were assaulted and taken to an isolated area on their motorcycle where she was subjected to a series of sexual assaults, including being raped in different locations within a forest.

The victim also alleged that after the horrifying sexual assaults, three individuals forced her into a car, where the driver also assaulted her sexually.

Thereafter, the accused persons took her to the road and forced her to board a bus back to their hometown.

The victim has identified one of the main accused as Aftab along with others whose names she is not aware of but claims she can identify them from the video recording of the assault.
