In a shocking development, a massive cache of explosives was recovered from a doctor’s residence in Faridabad, Haryana, near Delhi. According to reports, the Jammu and Kashmir Police seized 300 kilograms of RDX, along with two AK-47 rifles and several cartridges, from the doctor’s premises. This recovery has successfully thwarted a large-scale plot to target the Delhi-NCR region.
As per initial information, the recovery was made following the interrogation of a doctor previously arrested in connection with a case at a medical college in Jammu and Kashmir. Acting on his disclosure, police raided a location in Faridabad and found around 350 kilograms of explosives and two assault rifles.
Earlier, an AK-47 rifle was recovered from the locker of Dr. Adil at the Government Medical College in Anantnag. After his arrest, another doctor was also detained in connection with the investigation.
