Man with knife trying to enter Parliament held, being questioned

New Delhi:A man was detained by police on Monday morning while trying to enter the Parliament premises carrying a knife.The man has been identified as 26-year-old Sagar, who is currently being questioned by a joint team.

"There is no security angle to the incident so far as the man seems to be mentally agitated," the sources said.

The incident took place at 1045 hrs, when the man tried to enter the Parliament house and was immediately intercepted by the security staff at gate. Soon after he was detained by the police.Further inquiry is underway.(UNI)
