Manipur: Mob storms Ukhrul Police station, loots arms

Imphal: A mob stormed into the Ukhrul Police Station on Thursday and looted 21 arms.

Sources said the area has been tense since Wednesday following clashes over a land dispute at Ukhrul. So far four persons have died and many others were injured.

Chief Minister N Biren Singh appealed people to maintain calm and assured assistance to those affected by the violence.

He also assured to take up actions against those involved in any crime.
