Srinagar: Alert troops killed a militant near the Line of Control (LoC) in Boniyar in north Kashmir district of Baramulla this morning. Police said a militant was killed by security forces in an encounter at Lachipora, Boniyar Uri in Baramulla. Further details are awaited, they said.
Security forces killed four foreign militants immediately after they sneaked into this side from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in Uri sector on September 24 and 25. (UNI)
