Raichur: Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi today lambasted the BJP-led NDA Government for not keeping up its assurances and ran the country merely on slogans and oral assurances.Alleging that Prime Minister Narendra Modi does not walk the talk, he said that none of the assurances to uplift the poor or to provide employment to the youth had been fulfilled by the government.

In his brief address at a Congress Convention here, Mr Gandhi also attacked the NDA government of selectively assisting the states and those ruled by the Congress are denied necessary and rightful assistance. He pointed out that the Modi government did little to uplift the poor, on the contrary it was helping the rich.Nearly Rs 130,000 crore of bank debt of the rich was waived, while the government declined to waive the farm loans.
