Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday announced that candidates who could not appear in the Patwari Recruitment Examination due to some technical reasons would get another chance to appear in the examination to be held on December 29.
Mr Chouhan made the announcement while addressing 'Dil Se' radio programme from All India Radio (AIR) today, an official release said.The examination, which commenced yesterday, is scheduled to continue till December 29. In the first shift yesterday, about 8,000 candidates were left out of the examination. This led to a big ruckus at several centers. Certain aspirants reportedly faced difficulties at some centres even today and later reached the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board's (MPPEB) office.
He said that students securing 70 per cent marks in Class XII examination would also get the benefit of the Chief Minister's Medhavi Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojna from next year.“The scheme would cover all courses offered in government colleges. The income limit would be extended to Rs 8 lakh. Besides, industries providing employment to more than 100 youths would now be given one and a half times more capital subsidy,” he was quoted as saying in the release.
Mr Chouhan said that the benefit of the Chief Minister Medhavi Vidyarthi Protsahan Yojana would be given to students securing merit of up to 1.5 lakh in the JEE Main Examination. The criteria of annual income of the students' family would be increased from Rs 6-8 lakh. New courses would also be covered under the scheme so that maximum number of students could get the benefit.He said that about 90,000 posts in government sector would be filled. Under the Chief Minister's Youth Empowerment Mission, 7.5 lakh youth will be trained for employment every year. (UNI)
