Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Assembly's Budget Session scheduled to commence on Monday against the backdrop of a fortnight's high-voltage politics appears all set to be a turbulent affair of epic proportions and will get underway with Governor Lalji Tandon's customary address to the members.
Speaker Narmada Prasad Prajapati took stock of preparations on Sunday in the presence of Principal Secretary (Vidhan Sabha) AP Singh and other bureaucrats, it was officially learnt.
The fifth session of the state's 15th Assembly is slated to conclude on April 13. The Secretariat thus far received intimation of 5,315 questions, 160 calling attention notices, 16 vis-a-vis adjournment, 29 zero hour ones and 47 private members' bills.
In view of the coronavirus pandemic, the Speaker has advised those entering the premises to wear masks and utilise sanitisers.(UNI)
