Nitish Kumar makes an aerial survey of flood affected districts

Patna: Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today made an aerial survey of flood affected areas of Sheohar, Sitmarhi, Madhubani and Darbhanga districts and also those of Dhaka block in East Champaran district.

After his return from aerial survey, Mr Kumar held a review meeting with Chief Secretary Anjani Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary (Water Resources) Arun Kumar Singh, Principal Secretary (Health) R K Mahajan, Principal Secretary (Disaster Management) Pratyaya Amrit, Principal Secretary (Road Construction) Amrit Lal Meena.

Secretary (Rural Works) Vinay Kumar and Director General (Home Guards) P N Rai and other senior officers were also present in the meeting. CM directed officers to carry out rescue and relief operation in the flood affected areas on a war footing. Mr Kumar will make an aerial survey of flood affected area of West Champaran district tomorrow. (UNI)
