Islamabad: Two Pakistan Army soldiers and four terrorists were killed during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan's Kalat district.
Acting on a tip off, the soldiers raided Mangochar area of Kalat on Wednesday, and in the exchange of fire, two jawans and four terrorists were killed, a report in Pakistan daily Dawn, quoting a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), media wing of the Pakistan Armed Forces, said.
Two suicide jackets, a large quantity of explosives, other weaponry and ammunition were also recovered during the operation. The deceased soldiers were identified as Sepoy Muhammad Waris Shahban hailing from Jhang, and Sepoy Mir Alam from Ghizer in Gilgit-Baltistan. (UNI)
