PM congratulates MP, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Andhra, Karnataka and Kerala on their foundation day

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated the people of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Haryana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala on their State Foundation Day.

Mr Modi tweeted the names of these states separately.

Congratulating people of Madhya Pradesh, he tweeted, “Greetings to the people of MP on their Statehood Day. The state is making remarkable progress in key sectors and is making a long-lasting contribution in realising our dream of an Aatmanirbhar Bharat.”

In another tweet, he said, “Hearty greetings to the people of Chhattisgarh on the state’s foundation day. I wish that this region, which has been the centre of various cultures since ancient times, should continue on the path of progress and prosperity.”

Greeting the people of Haryana, Mr Modi tweeted, “Hearty congratulations to all the residents of Haryana, who hold an important place in Indian history, on the state’s foundation day. May this state symbolise prosperity and progress make new records of progress.”

In another tweet, he said, “Andhra Pradesh’s name is associated with diligence and compassion. The people of Andhra Pradesh have excelled in many areas. My congratulations to the people of the state on its foundation day and my best wishes to their development aspirations. “

In a tweet addressed to the people of Kerala, he wrote, “Happy Kerala Piravi Day to the illustrious people of Kerala. People here have always contributed significantly to the development of the country. Due to the natural beauty of Kerala, it is a centre of attraction for people all over the world. Pray for the continued progress of Kerala.”

Kerala’s foundation day is also known as Kerala Piravi.

On the foundation day of Karnataka, he said, “My congratulations to the brothers and sisters of the state on the occasion of Karnataka Rajyotsava. This state is acquiring new dimensions of progress on the strength of people’s strength and skills. I wish the people of Karnataka well and good health.”

All these states were formed today i e on November 1 with the exception of Chhattisgarh, which was declared an independent state in the year 2000. The rest of the four states attained statehood in 1956. (UNI)
