New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is chairing a high level security meeting at his official residence at 7 Lok Kalyan Marg.
Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and the National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla and other high officials are present in the meeting which commenced on Tuesday evening.
According to a Government source, "security policy related issues' will be discussed in the meeting.
The Defence Minister has just returned from his three day tour of Ladakh and it likely that he will update the Prime Minister on security scenario of forward locations on Line of Actual control.
The Prime Minister discussed the political situation in the Jammu and Kashmir with all party delegation on June 24 to chalk out further political process in the Union Territory.
This meeting could also discuss the agenda for incoming Monsoon Session of Parliament which is likely to commence on July 17. (UNI)
