New Delhi: Prime Minister, Narendra Modi today expressed grief over the loss of lives of young students at a school in Jhalawar, Rajasthan. “My thoughts are with the affected students and their families in this difficult hour”, Modi said.

The Prime Minister’s Office posted on Social media platform X, “The mishap at a school in Jhalawar, Rajasthan, is tragic and deeply saddening. My thoughts are with the affected students and their families in this difficult hour. Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured. Authorities are providing all possible assistance to those affected.”

At least six students have died and many others sustained injuries after the roof of the Piplodi Primary School in Rajasthan's Jhalawar collapsed on Friday.
