Bhopal: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a visit to Madhya Pradesh's Dhar district on Wednesday, his birthday, during which he is expected to lay the foundation stone for country's first PM MITRA (Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel) Park.
CM Mohan Yadav said, "Under the Prime Minister's leadership, the entire nation including this state is ceaselessly advancing towards actualising the resolve of a healthy society and strong nation."
In a social media post, the CM said a sewa pakhwada (service fortnight) will be observed from September 17 to October 2 in the state.
PM Modi will also launch the Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan in Dhar's Bhainsola village.
Under the campaign, health and nutrition camps will be set up at Ayushman Arogya Mandirs and community health centres. People are encouraged to donate blood voluntarily.
Statewide health examination camps will also undertake screening for diabetes, high blood pressure, anaemia, and tuberculosis along with a pre-delivery examination and nutritional counselling.
Training sessions for teenagers will focus on menstrual hygiene and nutrition.
"Madhya Pradesh has to play a crucial role in the Developed India 2047 mission. Women's health and empowerment form the basis of progress," Yadav said.
