Rahul pays tribute to soldiers on Army Day

New Delhi: Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Monday paid tributes to the country's soldiers on the occasion of Army Day. 

In a social media post, Mr Gandhi said, 'We salute the valour, courage and sacrifice of our brave jawans on Army Day. Your perseverance defends our freedom; your dedication shields our liberty. It's because of your sacrifices a billion hopes and dreams can take shape.'

Earlier, AICC media in charge Randeep Surjewala said, 'On the occasion of Army Day, we salute the brave soldiers who give their all in the service of the nation and who protect us in the face of tough situations. ' (UNI)
