Rajasthan Governor administers oath to 11 Cabinet, 4 State Ministers

Jaipur: Rajasthan Governor Kalraj Mishra administered oath to 11 Cabinet Ministers and four state ministers at the Raj Bhavan here on Sunday.

As soon as the Governor called the name of first Minister Hemaram Chaudhary to take oath in a packed hall in Raj Bhavan, the hall reverberated with the workers' cheers and slogans. This sloganeering sequence continued till the swearing-in was completed.

Mishra administered oath to Hemaram Choudhary, Mahendra Singh Malviya, Ramlal Jat, Mahesh Joshi, Vishvendra Singh, Ramesh Meena, Govind Ram Meghwal and Shakuntala Rawat as Cabinet Ministers.

Mishra also administered the oath to Maata Bhupesh, Bhajan Lal Jatav and Tika Ram July as Cabinet Ministers. They were Ministers of State in the out-going Cabinet.

Zahida, Brijendra Singh Ola, Rajendra Gudha and Murari Lal Meena were sworn-in as Minister of State. Guda is the only BSP MLA included in the Cabinet. All new Ministers first reached the PCC, where they were honoured by PCC chief.

Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot accepted three Ministers - Raghu Sharma, Harish Choudary and Govind Singh Dotasra, who agreed to work in organisation.

Former deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot were present on the occasion, along with hundreds of Congress workers. (UNI)
