Security scaled up ahead of Ayodhya verdict by apex court

Aurangabad: Aurangabad City Police Commissioner Chiranjeev Prasad on Tuesday cautioned  against the spread of inflammatory content on social media regarding the Supreme Court verdict on the Ramjanambhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute.At a media briefing here, Mr Prasad appealed to all sections of society to accept whatever the court decision.
        
He said that all should respect the outcome of court  decision and not make any comments in this connection.Social media spreading hate messages will be strictly dealt with under section 188 of Indian Penal Code.Police is enforcing section 144 and 37 of IPC.
         
Aurangabad's 3,000 policemen, 200 officers, four to five companies of SRP and 2 companies of CRP will be in action to keep law and order situation, he added.Rapid Action Force took out  a flag march in the city today.(UNI)
