The Uttar Pradesh police have solved the Amreen murder case a month after her body was found hanging from a tree in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. The girl's brother-in-law and his relative were arrested for her murder.
On October 4, 20-year-old Amreen, a resident of Bagarabba village of Azim Nagar police station area, went to visit Mazar in the village but did not return. Later her body was found hanging from a tree in the village cemetery.
Initially it was thought that Amreen had committed suicide but the post-mortem report revealed that the girl was murdered and the body was hanged after the murder.
When the police started investigation, shocking information came to light. The investigation revealed that the deceased had the qualities of a eunuch. Brother-in-law Matloob was having an evil eye on her. He recorded an intimate video with his wife and sent it to his sister-in-law. Enraged Amreen forwarded the video to some people in the village.
Later, the video went viral in the village. Furious Matloob then planned to take revenge. On some pretext, Matloob called Amreen to meet him at Mazar. When she reached there, he along with one of his relatives tied her hands and legs and strangled her to death. They hung her body from a tree in the cemetery so that people would think that she had committed suicide.
