New Delhi: President Ram Nath Kovind on Monday appointed Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra as the new Chief Election Commissioner, the Ministry of Law and Justice said.
Mr Chandra will assume charge from April 13, the Ministry said in a statement adding that a notification in this regard has been issued by the Legislative Department. (UNI)
