Umaria: Six sword-wielding ruffians barged into an additional district judge's bungalow and attempted to loot the place, law-enforcement authorities said.
Judge Surendra Sharma was targeted late Tuesday and the perpetrators told him to surrender gold and money. The victim said that they could take whatever was kept. The miscreants searched the residence and when they could not find anything worthwhile, they tied up Mr Sharma and left. The ADJ subsequently managed to free himself and alerted police. The accused are absconding.(UNI)
