Toll due to swine flu rises to 38 as one more patient succumbs

Nashik: With the death of one more patient, the toll due to swine flu has shot up to 38 in the last eight months. According to sources, the victim, Sushila Vitthal Ghayal (57) resident of Naitale village in Niphad taluka of the district was being treated in the District Civil Hospital as he was detected with swine flu symptoms yesterday.
 

A total of 38 people have died of swine flu in the district and city between since January 2017. Currently, six patients, including five women are being treated in the civil hospital for the same disease. Their nose or throat swab samples have been sent to Pune laboratory for analysis, sources added. (UNI)
