Two policemen killed in militant attack in Pulwama

Srinagar: Two personnel of Jammu and Kashmir police were killed in a militant attack at Pulwama in the wee hours of Tuesday when people were busy observing Shab-i-Qadr in mosques and other religious places across the valley, a police spokesman said.

He said a group of militants attacked a guard post at Pulwama Court complex with automatic weapons. Police guards also retaliated and in the exchange of fire two policemen were killed. The deceased were identified as Ghulam Rasool and Ghulam Hassan.He said security forces and police personnel have been rushed and the area has been cordoned off.(UNI)
