Following the supreme court hearing on Sharjeel Imam's alleged inflammatory speeches, the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has expressed concern over recent reports of Individuals from various professional fields being involved in radical activities.
VHP National Spokesperson Vinod Bansal stated that after the additional solicitor General presented the excerpts of Imam's alleged speeches in Supreme Court on Tuesday, a question has been arisan in the country "Who should be trusted and who should be not"
He alleged that Imam's speeches contained serious issues affecting the unity and security of the country. As per Bansal " Appeals such as disrupting the connectivity of the northeastearn states, creating large blockades, inciting against constitutional institutions, and organised unrest can't be acceptable in any form."
He expressed concern" If such individuals are released from prison. It could have serious implecations for law and order. " Bansal further claimed that the spread of radical ideas misleads youth and promotes anti social activities in society. He urged the court to adopt a strict stance in such cases to prevent any form of anti social activity.
