What! Boy forced to commit theft in his house

Barwani: A boy was threatened and forced to burgle 32 silver ingots – weighing 20 kg – and Rs 2.25 lakh from his own house in Madhya Pradesh's Barwani District, police said on Sunday. “Majharuddin lodged a theft complaint on September 5. During interrogation, his 14-year-old son Ashar told police that one Asif Sheikh threatened to kill his parents and forced him to steal from his own house,” Superintendent of Police Prashant Khare told reporters here. 

Asif was arrested and interrogated. He admitted to committing the crime with the help of Wasim Sheikh and Ismail Khan. He had sold 27 silver ingots to jeweller Jalaluddin while kept the remaining five at his own house. 

A raid was conducted at the jeweller's premises and 20 ingots seized from him. Two motorcycles purchased from selling the silver ingots were also seized. Five ingots were seized from Asif's house. Besides Asif, Wasim, Ismail and Jalaluddin were also arrested.
