Whatsapp group admin arrested over sharing child porn videos

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has cracked a WhatsApp child porn racket and registered a case against five group administrators of a WhatsApp group for their alleged involvement in it.

The CBI has registered a case against five people (group administrators) and 114 members of the group for circulating child pornography messages, the sources said on Thursday.The probe agency has arrested one of the alleged administrators of the WhatsApp group, Nikhil Verma. The 20-year-old has been arrested from Kannauj in Uttar Pradesh, the sources said.The probe agency is conducting searches at three places in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra, sources said on Thursday.(UNI)
