16 killed as AC bus collides with JCB loader in Kanpur

Kanpur: At least 16 people were killed in a major road accident under Sachandi police station area here on Tuesday night.

According to the preliminary report, 16 passengers of a Shatabdi AC bus of UP Roadways collided with a JCB loader over a bridge and in the impact of the collision the bus overturned, police here said.

Bodies of 16 people have recovered so far. Five people were reported to be critically injured and were admitted to the Hallet hospital. (UNI)
