Agra: Three persons were killed and two others injured when a car rammed into a tree in Fatehabad area of Agra district here in Uttar Pradesh, police said here Saturday.
The incident took place near Pallia village when the car driver lost control over the vehicle and it rammed into the tree late Friday. "Circle Officer Saurabh Singh, In-charge Alok Kumar Singh along with force reached the spot but three passengers had died by that time," the police said.
Waqar and Owaish, who got injured in the incident, have been admitted to the hospital.
"The deceased have been identified as Imran, Nasir and Zabi, all residents of Jatavpuri in Firozabad district."Their family members have been informed and the bodies have been sent for post mortem examination," it said.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over loss of lives in the accident and has directed the district administration officials to ensure proper treatment of the injured.
UP: 1 killed in bus-tractor trolley collision
Rae Bareli: One person was killed and nearly a dozen injured when a state roadways bus collided with a tractor-trolley in Rae Bareli district of Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Saturday.
The incident took place in Bachhrawan area late Friday when the contractual bus of UP State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) collided head on with the tractor trolley loaded with bricks on the Bachhrawan-Lalganj road.
"A bus passenger Suresh Maurya (20) was killed and a dozen people were injured in the accident," the police said.
The injured were taken to the community health center from where Surendra, Alpesh, Ajay and Vinod, who sustained serious injuries, were referred to the district hospital.
District Magistrate Mala Shrivastava and other senior officials visited the injured.Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed grief over loss of life and directed the district administration to ensure proper treatment to the injured.(UNI)
