85-year-old man locked inside bank locker room due to staff negligence

Hyderabad: A 85-year-old man had to spend a night in the bank locker room on Monday due to the negligence of staff.

According to police, Krishna Reddy, a resident of Jubilee Hills road No 67, went to the locker room of Union Bank branch at Jubilee Hills around 4.20 pm on Monday.

Even Reddy was inside the locker room, the staff locked it and downed the bank shutters, leaving the octogenarian inside.

The relatives of Krishna Reddy lodged a complaint when he did not return home even after late night.

Police investigating the case checked the CCTV footage and found him in the Bank locker room on Tuesday morning.

Krishna Reddy, a diabetic was immediately shifted to the Hospital for treatment.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway, police added. (UNI)
