9-year-old boy sodomized by 6 adolescents in Punjab

Hoshiarpur: A 9-year-old boy was sodomized by six male adolescents in a village of Punjab's this district, the police said on Monday.
Chabbewal police have booked 6 male adolescents of whom five of village Maili and one of village Nagdipur, under section 377 of the IPC and sections 4 and 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
Talking to UNI on Monday, investigating officer Inspector Jaskaran Kaur said that the police has arrested all the accused for allegedly sodomizing a boy studying in fourth standard. "All the accused are 14-15 years old," she informed.

The incident was reported by the victim boy's mother who stated that her son remained sick and lethargic for about a one-and-half year. When family members inquired from him, the victim boy told them that them that the aforesaid adolescents allegedly threatened and used to sodomize him for a long time. (UNI)
