Hyderabad:  India never looked back after it had a disastrous start by losing opener KL Rahul  in the very first over to Taskin Ahmed in the ongoing sole test match between India and Bangladesh. First, it was Murali Vijay and then Virat Kohli, who scored a ton and set the tone for India on day 1.  Murali Vijay score 108 runs before being castled to Taijul Islam while Kohli is unbeaten on the score of 111 runs at the stumps when India was nicely poised at 356/3. This is virat’s 16th test century and 9 th after he has been handed captaincy.
 

Earlier, Cheteshwar Pujara and Murali Vijay put an stand of 178 runs after recovering from an early loss. Likewise Vijay and Kohli, Pujara almost had a century on the cards. The Rajkot batsman departed on the score of 83 runs after being caught behind by M. Rahim. Kohli and Vijay consolidated the Indian innings, but after a partnership of 54 runs Vijay returned to the pavilion. Rahane has given a good support to Virat Kohli and batting on the score of 45 runs.
