Andhra govt extends Covid curfew till Jun 20

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh government has extended the Covid Curfew till June 20, and at the same time, the Curfew relaxation time was also extended till 2 pm.

AP Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy held a review meeting with the officials concerned at his camp office in Tadepalli near here on Monday.

Mr Reddy also reviewed the Covid situation.

Keeping in view the registering of a large number of fresh Coronavirus cases and also deaths, the Chief Minister has decided to extend the Covid curfew till June 20.

The Covid curfew was imposed on May 5 for 14 days with a relaxation of six hours from 6 am to 12 noon. Later the Covid curfew was extended till May 31 and again it was extended till June 10.

Since the surge of Covid cases continues, the government extended the Covid curfew till June 20.

The government also extended the relaxation time of Covid curfew for two hours till 1400 hours. (UNI)
