Andhra Pradesh: House burgled as inmates went to in laws house due to cyclone in Kakinada

Kakinada: The house of a software employee Tiragathi Veerabhadrarao in Ganuga chettu center in Valasapakala on the city outskirts was burgled and 40 sovereigns of gold jewelry and Rs.1.50 lakhs cash was stolen.
 
It is stated that due to cyclone effect entire area was not having electricity supply as such the employee Virabhadrarao along with his wife went to his in laws house in Godarigunta area duly locking the doors on Monday evening and on return on Tuesday morning found the doors were broke open and house was burgled. Immediately he lodged a complaint to Sarpavaram police.
 
DSP Padala Muralikrishnareddy, Sarpavaram circle Inspector Akula Muralikrishna, Crime wing DSP Rambabu and IT core inspector Srinivas visited the scene of burglary and made discrete inquiries in the neighborhood.
 
A case was registered and further investigation is on, police said. (UNI)
