Condolences pour in after Congress spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi dies of heart attack

New Delhi:Congress leader and party  spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi died on Wednesday  after a heart attack, the AICC said. 
In a tweet, AICC secretary Vineet Punia said, ''AICC spokesperson and senior Congress leader died of heart attack.  My deep condolences to his family members and his supporters.''
 
Party sources said that Tyagi died at his residence in Ghaziabad.  They said that Tyagi suffered a heart attack during a TV debate on Wednesday evening. Tyagi was Congress' national spokesperson and had worked in the party in various capacities. He was also assigned to handle the media in Mumbai in the Maharashtra Assembly polls.

JPCC chief expresses grief over passing of Rajiv Tyagi

Ranchi:Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Dr Rameshwar Oraon today expressed his grief over passing away of party's national spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi.
 
He said that untimely death of Rajiv Tyagi is an irreparable loss for the party. He was known for strongly keeping forward the views of the party in the media and prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace.
     
JPCC spokesperson Alok Kumar Dubey said that within a very small time Rajiv Tyagi had made a name for himself through his conduct and intellect. On the other hand party leader Rajesh Gupta Chotu said that he would be always remembered by the party for keeping the ideology before the people.

Rahul Gandhi condoles death of Rajiv Tyagi
 
New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday expressed condolence on the death of party spokesperson Rajiv Tyagi. In a condolence message,  Rahul said, ''Congress has today lost one of its lions. Rajiv Tyagi's love for the Congress and his inspiring struggle will always be remembered.
