“Don't buy gold from Muslim shops this Akshaya Tritiya,”Sri Ram Sene urges Hindus

Udupi (Karnataka): Sri Ram Sene President Pramod Muthalik on Monday urged Hindus not to buy gold from shops run by Muslims in Karnataka on Akshay Tritiya.

"It is not Sri Ram Sene's agenda. I saw common people ... urging people not to buy gold from Muslim-run shops," Muthalik told reporters here.

Muthalik alleged those who run the jewellery business were giving financial support to anti-India activities.

The right-wing Hindu group gained notice following its acts of moral policing. (UNI)
