Fake currency with face value of Rs 4.15 lakh seized in Sangrur

Sangrur: Police had arrested four people in Bhawnigarh on Sangrur -Patiala road in connection with printing fake currency notes of Rs 2,000 and Rs 100 denomination.SSP Sangrur Prithpal singh Thind said today that police busted the racket and seized 4.15 lakh rupees in 2000 and 100 new denomination.

He said that the accused were involved in supplying fake currency to a gang of six others in Sangrur.The accused were identified as-- Harbajan Das, Jasbir Singh of Bhawanigarh, Jaidev and Bhagwan Das of Sangrur. (UNI)
