Hight alert in 8 MP districts due to heavy rainfall

Bhopal: A ‘high alert’ – effective for the next 24 hours – was sounded in Satna, Chhatarpur, Panna, Katni, Sagar, Damoh, Vidisha and Raisen districts of Madhya Pradesh, which have been experiencing downpours form post few days. "Alerts were issued for Rewa, Tikamgarh, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Jabalpur, Sehore, Narsinghpur and Shajapur districts.

Heavy precipitation is also likely to lash numerous places in Rajgarh, Umaria, Mandla, Harda, Dewas, Indore, Ujjain, Ashoknagar, Guna and Agar Malwa districts," an official -- at the city-based Regional Meteorological Centre -- said. Rain is expected in Singrauli, Barwani, Burhanpur, Alirajpur, Khandwa, Khargone, Gwalior, Datia, Neemuch and Mandsaur districts besides Chambal Division. (UNI)
