In a first, Girl acid attacks boyfriend

Bengaluru: A denial of marriage jilted a Christian girl so badly that she threw acid in the face of her lover. The incident took place in IT city Bengaluru where a girl named Lydia Yashpal aged 26 years was in a relationship with Jaykumar Purushottam from the past four years. As per the sources Jaykumar denied to get married to Lydia, a nurse by profession, as he was refusing to accept Christianity after marriage. (pic- social media)

According to sources, Purshottam has been maintaining distance from Lydia for three months. Lydiya was fumed after she came to know that her boyfriend is searching another suitable match for matrimonial purpose.  She then met him, threw acid and slashed his face with the Knife. The neck of boy has got acid burns and face has been wounded by knife. The girl has been arrested and police is searching her cousin who helped her.(WD)
