New Delhi: India today said it was not aware of the whereabouts of Kulbhushan Jadhav in Pakistan or in what condition he is in even as the Ministry of External Affairs maintained that India is keeping the diplomatic channel on and is "engaged" in achieving the return of former Naval officer.
"Top Ministers have said in Parliament that the Government of India will do all that can be done and will do everything possible to get Jadhav back," MEA spokesman Gopal Baglay told reporters here, adding, "at present we are trying to achieve that". To a question, he said, the Government of India is not aware of in what condition Jadhav is or he is in which town. "We don't know these because Pakistan did not tell us," he said. (UNI)
