Kolhapur: A man absconding after murdering his live-in partner was found dead, having ended his life by suicide, in Malapude-Katalewadi area in Shahuwadi tehsil of this district on Thursday.
According to police, Satish Maruti Yadav, resident of city's Shivaji Peth area, was in a live-in relationship with Samiksha Bharat Narsinge (23) for the last four months.
While accused Satish pestered her for marriage, she refused. Furious over her refusal, he brutally stabbed her to death on Tuesday, and fled from the spot.
He ended his life by hanging himself from a tree at Malapude-Katalewadi area.
Police, who were on a search operation for him for the last two days, found his body hanging from a tree.
