Man’s head found stuck on train’s staircase at Nagpur station

Nagpur: A man’s head, slashed away from the body, was found stuck in the staircase of ladies bogie of Secunderabad Express which arrived here on Saturday.

The decapitated body was recovered off the tracks near Kazipeth in Warangal district of Telangana.

The youth might have committed suicide by jumping in front of the train near Kazipeth, police said.

The train number 12771 Secunderabad-Nagpur Express arrived Nagpur station at platform no. 6 at around 0830 hrs on Saturday.

During the train’s inspection, the RPF spotted the head stuck in the staircase of ladies bogie next to the engine.

The head was bruised and stained with blood. It was sent to the Indira Gandhi Government Hospital, police added. (UNI)
