Warangal: A 20-year-old mentally unstable girl was allegedly raped by her father at Charbowly in the limits of Inthezarigunga police station in Warangal Urban district.
The incident came to light when the victim's mother lodged a complaint at the police station on Sunday.In the complaint, she stated that her husband Vijayendrachari, a Railway employee sexually assaulted her daughter who is mentally unsound for past 2.5 months. The victim became pregnant now confirmed by the doctor and asked the police to take necessary action against him.Police who registered a case under section IPC 376 and sent her for medical examination.
Further investigation is on, police said.(UNI)
