Bhopal: The Madhya Pradesh Government’s decision to teach the ideology of personages including Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh founding Sarsanghchalak Keshav Baliram Hedgewar and Jan Sangh leader Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya – as part of the Foundation Course at medical colleges from this academic session itself – has stirred up a veritable political hornets’ nest with Congress state President and erstwhile chief minister Kamal Nath accusing the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party of imposing its agenda on every sector from the very beginning.
Pupils will also be exposed to Dr Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, Maharishi Charak and Acharya Susrut under ‘Medical Ethics’.
“The country has witnessed numerous towering personalities who made crucial contributions to the nation’s struggle for independence and its development. It will be preferable if the BJP dispensation is impartial,” Mr Nath conveyed via social media on Sunday. (UNI)
