Agartala: A single bench of high court of Tripura has refused bail to former PWD Minister of the left front government Badal Choudhury, who has been in the jail since past one and a half months on the charge of involvement in Rs 167 crore scam.
However, Justice Arindam Lodh considering his health condition, advised Choudhury to approach the competent authorities to seek referral to AIIMS for routine health check-up within two days and also directed the government to take utmost care of his health.(UNI)
